Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) invites all parents, youth and residents to attend its engaging prevention education program, Marijuana Legalization: Lessons Learned from Colorado, on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Massapequa High School Auditorium.
The presentation will highlight the evolving impacts marijuana legalization is having on public health and safety in Colorado and other states. Featured speaker, Dale Quigley, is Deputy Coordinator of HIDTA’s National Marijuana Initiative (thenmi.org) responsible for providing information and education on issues surrounding marijuana. A peace officer in Colorado since 1979, Mr. Quigley has an extensive background in narcotics investigations, supervising drug units and has served at the Rocky Mountain HIDTA in Denver from 2011 to 2016.
