MTAC Fall Drug Take Back Day Success: Community Collaboration is Key

On Saturday, October 24th, Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) held a Fall Drug Take Back Event. MTAC, the Massapequa Elks Lodge #2162 and the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce collaborated to make the Fall Drug Take Back a success. Volunteers from the Massapequa Elks and Massapequa Chamber of Commerce were eager to support the MTAC initiative and greeted residents with enthusiasm. With the help from all volunteers, 200 pounds of pharmaceuticals were collected.
